Happy Veteran's Day
Sandoval Elementary School recognized the HAWK Hero Students of the Month for October during a school wide assembly. The students were chosen because of their outstanding display of RESPONSIBILITY in schoolwork, following directions, taking care of the school, completing homework/preparing for tests and recognizing time. The assembly this month was sponsored by community member Brenda Kunick.
Those recognized were Sophia Winegarner, Knox Purcell, Tawnee Felty, Delaney Hongsermeier, Jayden Moore, Abigail Hansen, Journey Bryan, Case Purcell, Tyanna Tomes, Bailey Benzschawel, Turner Hodge, Camden Kelly, Bo Jourdan and Nathaniel Tarlton. Sandoval 501 Families:
1. Report Cards from 1st quarter are being sent home with your student today. Just a reminder you can always check your students grades at teacherease.com
2. Reminder tomorrow is an early dismissal. The Elementary school: 12:40pm, Jr/Sr high school: 12:50pm.
3. Sandoval is currently under a boil order and may still be under one during school tomorrow, please have your students bring a clear water bottle for drinking if possible. The school will have water available for students as well.

Sandoval Elementary School celebrated the Blackhawk Students of the Month for September. The students were chosen because of their outstanding display of RESPECT for rules, self, others, school and community. The event this month was sponsored by The Mine Shack of Sandoval.

Dear Blackhawk families, the water main break at the Jr/Sr High School has been restored. Sandoval 501 will be operating on a normal school schedule tomorrow, Thursday September 29th.

Blackhawk community: There has been a water main break at the junior senior high school that will not be repaired until the end of the day. Sandoval CUSD 501 will be dismissing grade school students at 11:10 am and Junior Senior High Students at 11:20 am. If you have any questions please contact the main office at your student's building.

Sandoval CUSD 501 Families: We have reopened the online registration until August 10th if you still have not registered your student. You may also go to either of the buildings main office to receive the registration packet or return a completed registration packet. Those that have not proved their residency, please bring those copies to one of the main offices so we can scan your documents. You may turn in any information to the main offices Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:00. The first day of student attendance will be August 16th. We look forward to seeing all of our students back for another great year.

Sandoval CUSD 501 would like to show our support for our neighboring community of Carlyle. Members of the Sandoval schools will be driving around town on Thursday July 21st to sell goods to raise money for the family. All proceeds will go to them. We will be selling Bomb pops, ice cream sandwiches, and soda (Mt. Dew, Ski, and Coke) for $2 a piece. The route will start at the St. Lawrence Church parking lot at 11:00am, Sandoval city park at 11:20, Junction city hall at 11:40am, and at the corner of Van Buren and 11th street at 12:00pm. Please come out and show your support for our neighboring community that is going through this tough time.

Contact the school or send a message on FB and we can check it for you. Just a reminder all NEW students must register in person next week July 27(1-7 pm) and July 28 9am-3pm) at the Jr/St High School.
