All contractors, Sandoval Community Unit School District No. 501 employees, building occupants, and parents have been informed that an asbestos abatement project will be taking place at the Sandoval High School.

The project is scheduled to commence on May 28, 2024, or shortly thereafter.

The removal and disposal process of the asbestos containing materials will follow all state and federal rules and regulations, as required. An IDPH licensed asbestos abatement contractor will be conducting the work and will at all times be overseen by an on-site IDPH licensed asbestos project manager.
