Welcome letter from Matt Dannaman – Jr/Sr High School Principal
I would like to welcome everyone to the 2020-2021 school year! I am excited to have all of our students and staff back in any capacity. As we all know last year in-person learning came to an abrupt end due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year we have created a schedule that can shift from a hybrid schedule to all in-person learning or full remote learning. The administration and staff spent the whole summer preparing for this school year that looks different from any other.
Here at Sandoval Jr/Sr High School we are dedicated to growing all of our students both academically and social-emotionally in every learning environment whether remote or in-person. We have added additional high school classes this year to give our students more learning opportunities. We have also made additions to our guidance team by adding a full-time social worker so we can take extra steps to ensure that our students are college and career ready. We have also added an advisory period where students can get support in both academics and have enrichment opportunities.
I look forward to working with staff, parents, and community members to ensure our students have every opportunity to make this another great school year here at Sandoval Jr/Sr High School!
“It’s Still a Great Day to be a Blackhawk!”
