Two Sandoval volleyball players were voted onto the Midland Trail All Conference Volleyball Team.
Alicia played middle her first two volleyball seasons. Coach Clicker Merten moved her to setter her junior year as be believed she had the ability to be a setter. Now after playing the setter position just two seasons, Alicia has been voted onto the Midland Trail All Conference Honorable Mention Team.
Sierra was Sandoval's most consistent hitter this season. She has really committed herself to the sport of volleyball as she is now playing her second season for the Top Spin Volleyball Club. Sierra has also been voted onto the Midland Trail All Conference Honorable Mention Team.Sierra was also named to the Flora Round Robin Tournament All Tourney Team.

Sr High School Golf
Two members of the Sandoval HS Golf Team represented the girls and boys teams
well by advancing to sectionals. During a recent regional tournament
played at Governor’s Run Golf Course and Colonial Golf Course, Wyatt Shuler and
Christonia Saddler advanced to play in the sectionals. The boys and girls
golf teams are coached by Tyson Moore.
The Jr./Sr. High School is excited welcome five new outstanding staff members to the team. The new members are Jill Strole, Nikki Brubaker, Sean Thomas, Lindsey VanBlaricum, and Mindy Meyer. Click on the links to see more about each teacher.

Mr. Hanks' 6th grade class recently held a History Debate this past Friday, Oct 11. The 5th grade was invited to attend the debate which was held in the gym. The topic of the debate was, which 40 year time period in American History did students feel had the most innovative and impactful inventions to our society. One team chose to support the 1875-1915 inventions of the automobile, telephone, and airplane. The other team chose the time period 1973-2014 and the inventions of mobile phone, computer, and MP3 player.

Country Rhodes All You Can Eat
On Friday December 13th, Sandoval PTO &
Junior Class will be holding their Country Rhodes All you can eat – Fish,
Shrimp & Chicken event.
The Event will be held at Sandoval High School and run from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Ticket prices are $9.00 for adults & carry outs and $6.00 for children 12 & under.
Proceeds from the event will be used for
the Sandoval Junior Class & Prom.

The regular school day will be extended for all district schools. At the Junior-Senior High School school will start at 8:00 a.m. and will dismissed at 3:30 p.m. At the Elementary School school will start at 8:15 a.m. and will dismissed at 3:15 p.m.
Every Wednesday school will be dismissed at 2:10 p.m. at the Elementary School and 2:20 p.m. at the Junior-Senior High School.
